It has been a very, very long time since I felt superior to anyone or anything.

I know my place .... why else the chosen avatar?

Like the "real" Snoopy I may dream of greater things but I long since accepted that dreams are all they will ever be and I am happy with that.

And THAT is the most revealing and serious post I have ever made or am ever likely to make.

THW has returned from France ..... been in the house 4 minutes and started a row with me.
Came out with some load of old bollix she had picked up from some other kid about funding going to Uni and I simply said "Get a part-time job then" and she hit the roof..... Screaming and hollering about her future being at stake.

I put up with ten minutes of it and then told her to either get to her room or pick up her case and leave by the door she had just come through ..... More lip so I smacked her silly face. "I'll report you for that"

"Too whom? You are after all almost 18 dear .... it is hardly 'child abuse' ~ get to your fvcking room and remember that as long as you live under my roof you never, ever speak to me like that again" and gave her another slap.

How BLOODY DARE SHE!  cussing:

She is looking at about a 14 week break after A levels until Uni starts.... I have found two people locally who are willing to employ her for the summer season. She just has to present herself for interview and choose one.

"But I need a break ~ I don't intend to work through the summer"

Her choice .... she works or she don't eat ~ Seeemples!

I am not funding her anymore and that is it!
