Today sees the start of the Nat West Cricket Weekend ..... NO that is not a tournament but the official start of the season when all club members and helpers turn up at their clubs, up and down the country, to paint sight-screens, fences and seats, mark out the pitches, mow the grass, ply the heavy roller, pick up the winter's worth of dog sh*t and generally get the clubs ready for a summer of playing.

I seem to have been delegated to take the boys along to their club in Prestatyn. Hopefully someone will think to bring the keys to the clubhouse bar.

Today I will mostly be going on a road trip to Bristol.  Weather is glorious and I get to sit in a van. Stil, could be worse.
