Herons are dangerous bastards.

You would not get me going within a few feet of them.

A mate of my dad shot one that had nearly emptied his pond of fancy/expensive fish. When he went to pick up the dead bird.... it was only 'playing dead' and proceeded to stick its' bill right through the blokes' cheek, then flew away. I guess he got his reward for shooting it in the first place.

But they are pretty vicious buggers like.

If it is of any consolation it does happen to we girlies as well. evil:

Added to my list of things to do today is to keeeel next door's builders and set fire to their cutting and grinding equipment.  These are the only builders that I know of/have ever known who are excelent time keepers they rock up at 7.30 every morning work until 6.30 in the evening and also work at the weekends. evil:

Probably driving taxis from 7PM tp 7AM as well.

I went here yesterday.
 


They were holding an antique fair. It was warm and sunny. The only thing that spoilt it was the attendees , (Mr C and I notwithstanding) I am sure that I have mentioned it before and snoops will definitely know what I mean.  They all seem to be missing 'the  speaking at normal talking level'  gene. I may have to invest in a pair of ear defenders. sad24:

Whilst there I purchased a whole box of photographic slides for £5.00.  I now need to also invest in a slide viewer. redface:

There were also many of these types of vehicles there.
