I think we will be removing Christmas tomorrow ~ I really can't be arsed with all this twelfth night shite.

I suggest that EVERY year, but then get accused of being a miserable scroogie bastard.
The shite therefore has to remain in place until the bitter end.
What is the actual point, can anyone tell me please, cus I'm buggered if I know chief ?  Shrugs:

Same here. I have had to downgrade my intermong connection to 2mb until I have a job. The Wii struggles with this and pauses the programme often. The PS3 however streams OK on the same connection.

Maybe I am stupid but my kids have a Wii and to operate it it has to connect to a television. So just how do you watch TV through a Wii (or PS3) without a screen of one sort or another. Through your PC perhaps but surely your PC Monitor (if it is anything like mine) could be used to watch TV without the need to spend £200 on a Wii or PS3?
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I have a 2.7m satellite dish but it is not big enough to watch BBC programmes without the signal breaking up.

One the Wii I can watch BBC on the iPlayer...

We're just watching Gavin and Stacy...  cloud9:

I guess for TG it means you can watch BBC iPlayer on your telly without having a socking great PC next to it...

OK?

Boys are at a Birthday Party this afternoon (2 til 5).

SOOOOOOoooooooooooooo Manchester rellies who thought yesterday was too dangerous weather wise to enable them to visit us have just called to announce they will be here for lunch. We had no plans for lunch, nothing is defrosted as we intended to drop the boys at their party and go to a pub for a late lunch. Banghead

SWWLTBO is now in panic mode  Yargh:

These rellies are tighter than a crab's arse. Suggesting going to the pub for lunch would be like asking them to enter the gates of Hades and shout "fvck off" to the Devil.

I have, however, rescued the day.

I have made SOUP!   ;D

Part baked rolls have been placed in a warm oven and the table is set for a soup, rolls and cheese lunch. I am a domestic God!  angel1

SWWLTBO meanwhile has rushed around in circles, shouted at the children and washed her hair. ::)

She has now seen my preparations and panic has been turned down to Regulo 2

Reading this has now actually made me become very appreciative that I haven't got any relatives living within 200 miles from here. cloud9:

Only got 1 good mate too, and he hates visitors, generally speaking, as much as me.
