I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

I purchased some second hand books today, titles include 'A Flummery of Food Feasts for Epicures' and 'Practical Information For All' this book includes such gems as 'why a depression comes from Iceland' 'how to get married' 'why does my boy dislike physical action' 'why domineering is fatal' 'should wives go to work?'

I will be giggling for a while yet.....

I collected a chest of drawers that I won on E-bay today. I thought I was in a Carry-On film, her opening greeting was, "I've removed the drawers to make it easy for you to manage"  eeek:

I am having a tussle with someone in Yorkshire over an Ebay item I seem to have won and he now says has been sold "elsewhere" cussing:

Trying to get sense out of Ebay over a weekend seems impossible.
