Gardening posse this morning  angel1. Weeded and cleared a large-ish bed then laid about six sacks of wood chips; looks very smart  cloud9:

I've just got back from Malmesbury Abbey, lovely place, nice countryside

It would have been interesting if I'd gone tomorrow, the sign on the abbey gardens gate said, "Please be advised, May 31st is optional clothing day, clothing may or may not be worn in the garden"  eeek:

aaah, I just took a look at their site , I remember seeing them on TV once, without doubt, a pair of nutters extroverts

She has asked for her own bank account with a debit card ( everyone has one at school  ::)   ) - I did gently explain the concept that you actually have to put money into the bank to take any out  noooo:

Those at school who have bank accounts with cash cards are probably in receipt of EMA or an income from a trust fund. NO BANK will allow a child under 16 to have a debit card ..... went down this route with the THW who was only satisfied that I was telling her the truth after being rejected by all of the major High Street banks. ~ She now has an account and cash card but they will not give her a debit card until she is 18 and in receipt of either wages or student loans/grants etc.

Of course I expect it's all different in London.

There is a way that some kids get debit cards and that is when their parents give them one on their (the parent's account) .... Just as I could give the wife a card on my account ~ If I was that fecking stoopid.
