I have been getting the Pajero MoT'd

Yes, and?
I'm interested.

Nick's a hobbyless tit with no interests whatsoever worth mentioning, so igore him. happy088

Didn't know you had mot's out there BM.
Am I getting mixed up with Malta p'raps?  rubschin:

MoT once the car is 4 years old then every 2 years...

Pretty impressive actually, all automated - no levering the suspension with a crow bar...  noooo:

I was a bit worried about the emissions as he took his time over that but it passed okay - they check the noise it makes with an SPL meter too...  eeek:

?35 job done for another two years...  cloud9:

Mind you, many of the vehicles on the road here have never been near a test centre...  lol:

Most satisfactory.
35 snotters every two years is a bargain, unlike the ?200 that Snoop reckons it costs every year over 'ere like.  eeek:
Mind, he has got a Land Rover, so to be expected really. ;)

I am not the only one who thinks that many MOT Test Centres will "find work" to earn themselves a bit extra and they often miss the real faults.

Anywhoo ~ to get back on topic .... Today I have been to Colwyn Bay (cycle shop to get brake blocks and sundry items for boys' cycles) ..... You would not believe the number of female holiday makers, wandering the streets, wearing almost nothing  eeek:

The twelve mile round trip took me nearly two hours. cloud9:

I did that once... When I ordered it on the phone he miss-heard 'V' for 'B'... bugger to change it before I could take it to the post office to get me tax disc...  redface:

It didn't happen yesterday, but I had an enjoyable bike ride earlier. Weather conditions were just right, not to hot, not to cold, a gentle breeze, I'm now looking forward to the next time. All I need to do now is remember where I put the bike pump so that I could easily find it  confused: . Given the cost of them, it'll be easier to buy a new one

The lovely weather continues as does the cycling. Only three and a bit miles, but three and a bit more than I was doing two days ago  angel1

I didn't bother looking to hard for the bike pump. "I'll nip in Halfords on the way home" I thought, "it's only a placcy tube probably made in China, so should be ?2 - ?3.00"........ ?16.99 was their cheapest  eeek: .... stuff that. Off I toddled to Tesco's, I now have a little air compressor as per Snoopy's, cost ?12.99

Today the THW is having a few friends round for drinks and nibbles.
They will be, I am told, mostly female and they plan to BBQ (this I have to see since 80% are vegetarian). However it turns out I have forked out a small fortune for Quorn Burgers and the like + cheap and weak lager (most are still not 18!).

So this evening my back garden is going to be full of semi naked 17 year olds. cloud9:

I have charged my digital camera and placed A&E on standby  redface:

No Nick ~ she has not invited you...... You'll have to wait for the piccies. whistle:

Indeed.
Shrieking seems to be the only means of communication between them that doesn't involve punching a keyboard.

rubschin: Perhaps they'll sit at opposite points of the lawn and text one another. I'll spread the chairs around and see if I can induce that to happen.
