I did a sponsored swim round lake Bala in my teens damned cold if my memory serves me correctly.


Your memory is as accurate as ever. I was paddling in it putting a trout back last year. Bloody water was freezing ~ which will teach me to eschew the wellies in favour of rolled up jeans and bare feet.

I'm here but am packing, on the move again soon. surrender:

Snoops why on earth were you putting a trout back,, cooking would have been the better option surely.  Going to Scotland soon, I think so will be doing a spot of fishing myself.
