Like many farms, after the BSE crisis they diversified and many of the barns/storage areas were converted into small office units, industrial units, mini-warehouses etc. There are at least three car workshops there, one large barn houses "classic" fire engines including some they hire for TV/films, and another I noticed this morning has three classic coaches in there. They also do quad biking for groups/companies. Farming isn't what it use to be as I'm sure others more knowledgable than I on here can testify. Although all this is only 200yds away, I never hear any of the activities so it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the surroundings

From the piccies I've seen, and your descriptions of the place, it sounds like Growler heaven to me...apart from too far away from 'me 'ill' like. cry:

It's been the day of the Summer Fair  eeek:. The music now seems to have stopped and someone is announcing prizes. It started around midday with bagpipes and drums then moved on to a Blues band reminiscent of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers for about an hour. This in turn gave way to Morris dancing - sounds of sticks bashing and an accordion followed by folk rock and finally what sounded like a Céilidh… oh no, it's off again, back to the celtic dancing ...

I wonder if there's a beer tent  rubschin:

I decided to jet wash THE BEAST underneath before doing some painting on it.
Did it on the grass verge/road so as not to upset Mrs G and G jnr with all the inherent muddiness on MY path.

The road and pavement were so bad though that I've had to clean all that up now too.
Passing pedestrians and motorists looking at me as though I'm barkin', you know, jet washing the road and stuff. lol:
