From the comfort of my house I am watching Glastonbury... Guns and Roses.  Will administer cream tea to child as I have just heard the latest football score.  Ouch.  surrender:

Proper Guns and Roses or Axl and his tribute band?

Second day of my first aid refresher course out of the way. Just the one day left and I dread to think what stories the instructor has left for us.  eeek:

Today I shall be attending a pre-admission appointment at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. This is in preparation for next Monday when I shall be admitted as an inpatient.

Now that's something to look forward to.

I wonder how the rewiring's going?

Don't worry dear, Sydney the city  ;).  I was merely speculating after the word association of time and lord  whistle:

The Danish word 'lord' (lort) means 'shite'

Not a lot of people know that (except Danes of course).

So does that mean that 'Lordy' the Danish Group that won the Eurovision a couple of years back were actually called shitty in their own language ?

Sorry just come across this thread

Doubly sorry now I've realised it has come in between worries about Snoops
