Ah well, at least the parents and children will now be in the same location for the same week.   redface:

... 6.5 miles walked according to my mobile phone pedometer.

Serious question, how does that work?

They work on a "jolt" basis usually.

Not perfect as some non-walking movements can be interpreted as walking.  whistle:

Only if you make "jolting" movements with your clothes on  ;)

Depends where you keep your mobile.

Time to feed the dog and mow the grass.

The kind of day I'm having, anything could happen.

Just picked up a prescription and some shopping for my elderly neighbour (about 80) - she answered the door in her undies!
Maybe she thought I was the doctor who's supposed to be calling.

Also now have a voicemail and it won't accept any PIN I enter.  evil:

I have been looking more and more like an unkempt Labrador during the last two months.  I hate going to the poodle parlour, boring and full of Sharon, Tracy's and Kyle's slathering on 'products'.  On me not them I hasten to add.

Today I succumbed I can now see which is the up side the down side being I have just wasted two hours of my life which I will never see again. noooo:

I usually take my seat and when they say "And what can I do for you today?" I reply "A trim without conversation please"  evil:

Years ago, a guy I knew had the skin/pelt of his alsatian dog on the floor, preferred it to a sheepskin rug.

Hmm, Nick could be a sales opportunity here.

You want to skin Nick? eeek:  Not sure we want to see him nakidder than nakid. noooo:

Nick an hour to get there and back then an hour in there.  Wash hair x 2 conditioner with head massage. Tracy does not understand 'no thanks'. Banghead  Products, Wayne mincing about a bit and tutting, cut, blow dry, bit more cutting, Wayne self congratulating himself on job well done.  Escape. evil:
