At the gym this morning.

B52s, Talking Heads, Tom Petty accompanying.

This is perfect, beat matches 6.1 Kph on treadmill.

I've been pondering over a letter I received. I cashed in a financial product and er.. bought another, different one. Here we go...

"Dear Mr P,

I am writing to let you know, (sic  ::) ) that we have sent a payment of £xx,xxx.xx to Legal & General to complete the transfer of your xxxxx previously held with Legal & General.
We regret that you have decided to move your xxxx to another company, but I hope that we completed the transfer to your satisfaction.
If you need any more information blah blah blah etc...

Yours,

Sophie O'Neil
Customer Services
Legal & General"

Apart from the punctuation I'm puzzled why Sophie, who styles herself We, is regretful in the least.  confused:

I am back, that is not a grand announcement just a statement of fact.  I would really appreciate a precis of the last couple of days if anyone is willing to oblige.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
