Oh Darwin you have just cheered me up, thank you.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

My implanted defib went off during one ~ the panic was incredible. It took the junior receptionist to grab a phone and dial 999 to resolve the matter. I suspect that, had she not, they would have held another meeting to decide what to do. Shortly after that they "retired" me.

I just went for a stroll down to the shops, pick up some dry cleaning and one or two other things ...

Things haven't changed that much in 250 years  noooo:

I wanted some dried coconut so nipped into Morrisons. Rather than search I thought I'd ask:
"D'you have dried coconut?"
"Decaffeinated?"
eeek: eeek:  That's a new one on me I thought.
I follow Man Mountain on his instruction ~ well, he's built like Frank Bruno with the same colouring. We find it on the shelf...
"Ah, dessicated coconut!" I say.
"Uh, yes. i was thinkin' of that but the wrong word came out!" He laughed like Frank as well  scared2:

Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"

Currently in The George in Croydon watching weirdy-beardies try different ales during the "Ale and cider festival".
