They are doing a display in Rhyl. Well not actually IN Rhyl, more sort of in the air above it like.

Well we'll be able to see it from over 'ere then without having to travel all the way over there, and mixing it with the Taff's.  cloud9:

We came over and saw then at Hoylake last year.

Mind you I have seen them so many times it is untrue but they still give a thrill.

"Seen them so many times" is not willy waving ~ They were at RAF Scampton practising during the days when my company guarded the place + I saw them in their original aircraft in my RAF days.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

.

Stopped going there two years ago after many many years of the August BH visits, cus they started going completely and unbelievably OTT with bloody H&S shite. Banghead

Moving everyone off the beach, and that meant standing against the sea wall too, and back onto the already grossly overcrowded pavement and road. Bloody health hazard in itself. evil:

I mean, if anything was going to crash at 3-600mph ffs, just HOW exactly was moving and crushing everyone back a few feet going to prevent a total wipeout of human life within half a mile?  Shrugs:

I voiced my dismay and disgust at their stupid petty decision to 'the man' in a HV jacket and hard hat.....ffs ::), and have never been back.

I kid you not, bloody bunch of of tossing wankers.

It does seem slightly sureal and ironic dunnit ey?

Bloody 'ard 'ats against 10 tons of jet aircraft, or p'raps it was to protect their empty heads if a wheel fell off one of the Red Arrows!! lol:

The classic car show was a bit of a disappointment tbh.
I counted approx 60 cars, which is nowt spread over a biggish field full of nag dollop. ::)
About....  mmmmmm rubschin:, 10 admiring visitors plus me, giggling and pointing at some of the more amture and elderly owners of said cars, havin' a afternoon nap behind the wheel, gobs wide open. lol:

Field adjacent was running some sort of dogs and nags trotting and prancing around competition.  sleep017
