I am cleaning!  evil:

Finished the sink (was a bit worried that the paint wouldn't come off for a while) and the fridge... cloud9:

Now I need to last until Tuesday night without using them...  rubschin:

That sounds like the start of an excuse good reason to spend a lot of time in the garage, drink a lot of beer and eat take-a-ways.  rubschin:

Well Growler would luv that Food Show thingy. Lots of yumster stuff like bread, olives, FUDGE, TOFFEE, veggies, CAKES, MARSHMALLOW KEBABS IN MELTED CHOCOLATE, live pigs and calves, GOAT BURGERS ( eeek:), PIES, MORE PIES, FREE SAMPLES, cheeses, wine, DANDELION AND BURDOCK, etc. etc.

Fooking Morris Dancers spoilt it all for a bit though  cussing:

I have been here today!

Not willy waving (as I haven't got one) about holidays but my first holiday in France was in one of these, all the way to San Sebastian prolly in 1961.  Dover to Calais on the Lord Warden.   3 children in the back and camping equipment.  The first task was to find a cardboard box to put me in so that Mum could put the tent up... like.  (So I am told.)

The best bit would be the cup of tea made by the side of the road.  They had an aluminum pot abit like a miniature cauldron to boil the water in which lasted them all through their camping years.  It was run over many times and eventually suffered a split.  They were on a hotel holiday in Istanbul in the late '80s when Dad came across a pot mender: 2 washers and 2 cork disks with a nut and bolt - he was ecstatic because he could mend the pot.
 ;D
