Been here today.

Most of it was a bloody waste of time which I was expecting.  A great deal of nest feathering was going on, which I was expecting, there were a lot of Tarquins and Wooperts there, riding on shirt tails, which I was expecting, yahhh darrlling but right at the end there was a breath of fresh air and something that I have been looking for they seemed like jolly nice people too.

Just got back from the food festival.  Had a lovely day.  Sampling was very efficient :  Woods, Kingstone Brewery, Corvedale Brewery, Hobsons and cider and perry oh and fudge.  Did sample some lovely fruit cake and cheese and bread and pate and dips.  A very chilled out day.   cloud9:

And...... bought 2 sets of ear rings.   cloud9:

Just outside the kitchen window there is a function of some kind or another going on on the lawn outside. They have three of those 40 gallon BBQ's going where you cut the barrels in half. Head BBQ lighter and meat turner-overer has a full-lengthorange high-vis coat on, resembles Paddington bear from behind.... presumably for H & S reasons  ::)
