Cannot shake this rancid cold off that I've now had for 5 weeks.
Me chest is as tight as a drum, and the snot machine is still working overtime.

I wouldn't go doc's for the flu ....unless it doesn't appear to be getting better like your situation.

I hate going to the doctors and can't tell you the last time I went

But I have nasty outbreak of something and needed to know if it was contagious before I can go back to work tomorrow. Itchy as buggerybollox too so if you have some spare room on that tree i can rub my back on that would be most appreciated
