The cat was just about to 'play' with it!  eeek:

Rather stupidly I was worried about the cat being injured (doh:) So I grabbed the cat away, grabbed a tea towel and grabbed the snake...  Banghead

There ensued a brief life or death struggle before I overpowered it and dumped it up the road close to a neighbour's house...  whistle:
