On the A10 ~ Cliff Richard used to live there with his Mum.  whistle:

Tesco HQ is there .... in Delamare Road (From whence they get their brand name)

Awful place frankly but Waltham Cross is next door and the park there is very pleasant.

Packing...  ::)

Carry only Mini parts needing exchange/return. Otherwise go as you are and buy when you get here. You'll need jumpers, a raincoat and wellies.

When you put road markings down for destinations the rule is the first letter, apostrophe, last three letters, meaning Manchester would be signed M'ter, Winchester would be W'ter etc... what do the markings say at Cheshunt  rubschin:

I did my initial training for my job in Cheshunt exactly 16 years ago next week.
Just left off the M25 heading out towards the Dartford Bridge iirc?

Wonder if it's still the dump it was then? ::)

That would get you to Cheshunt ... if you go down the M6, then the M1 and then turn left onto the M25 toward the Dartford Crossing OR M6, A14, M11 and then turn right onto the M25 away from the Dartford Crossing but all a bit too near Harlow for my liking.

Personally I would go down the M6, the A14 and turn right down the A10. Much quicker and a far prettier route. Some nice pubs along that road. That route has the added benefit of avoiding the M25 .... a road I came to detest.

Last time I saw it, about 5 years ago, it was still a dump but with bigger shops on the outskirts..... mostly on the wrong side of the A10 for those living in the town  ::)

I expect the new Olympic complex will have changed things a lot .... should be bringing some much needed prosperity and work to the area.

I don't plan on going back there Snoop...ever.
The H.O. of the company there that I had a licence to trade under, has long since sold out to a bunch of crooks in Bournmouth unfortunately.
Needless to say, and most suprisingly,( yea, hard to believe I know, but true  lol: ) I fell out with them comprehensively about 7 years ago, and told him to hang my new licence contract that they were insisting on me signing, into the gents toilet cubicle arse wipe dispensing unit. lol:
The bossman was well unimpressed and threatened me with legal action.

Oh how I shat meself  scared2:....NOT!  ::)
I now trade under a similar but slightly altered name under my own right and as a limited company. Sweet, as a nut cloud9:

Wish I could track down the originator of the company, a Mr Bob Jackson. Hell of a nice guy....full of bullshit  lol:, but meant well, and was really easy to get on with.
I would love to thank him for the opportunity he gave me to escape from British Gas, and create a reasonably sucessful new career path for me over the past decade and a 'arf. cloud9:

Sounds lovely JOM.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
