I was where I should be but the work I had planned for this afternoon all went wrong cos nothing was working properly.  Today was my 22nd consecutive day at work.  I have the day off tomorrow.  Anyone know what the forecast is?   evil:

Minus 8 overnight. A cold day (maximum +1) with some sunshine, patchy freezing fog is likely to occur in some prone locations. There may be an isolated snow shower at times, but it will be mostly dry.

Overnight, cloud will increase bringing a little rain or sleet. This rain potentially falling onto frozen surfaces giving a risk of ice

That explains why Gatwick was shut. She was doing the runway  noooo:

A good friend, who I would expect to have the real inside story, tells me the Gatwick problem is because, when BAA was forced to sell the airport, all the good, modern snow-clearing equipment was found to be on the Heathrow inventory.  whistle:

I am still where I am supposed to be.  evil:

I can't remember what I do when I don't go to work, so while I am thinking about it I have washed the sheets from all the beds, cleaned one bathroom including emptying the cabinet and washing it  on the inside, cleaned the inside of the oven, am backing up files from a desktop I am giving away.  Oh and washed the youngest's clothes.  I forgot to have breakfast and now don't feel like lunch.

However I have just watched 2 minutes of Loose Woman and now have tears rolling down my face.. and Meatloaf is 63 years old.  eeek:

Yes it was a passing visit as I scanned for something which might hold my attention, and hopefully send me off to sleep for an hour, no luck so I am watching last weekend's rugby on replay.  cloud9:
