I have been having dealings with the DWP  Banghead Banghead  I'm sure this has been amply covered over many postings on here but they really are verging on unfit for purpose.  ::)

They have managed to lose half the paperwork they requested from me and I've spent the whole morning sorting it all out for them again  evil:
Not only that but they are referring to me as a "customer". Customer, eh? If I were a customer and you the supplier then:
1) I'd dump you for losing half the information you requested
2) I'd dump you for writing with demands that I furnish you with information already submitted

Pastis verdict:

Pass or Fail?:  Fail
Reasons? :     Incompetent

10 or so days ago I received 3 (Three) letters from the DWP. All arrived in the same delivery, all came from the same office, all bore the same date, all showed different calculations of how much they would be paying me.
The following day I received three demands, in three envelopes, all asking for documents to enable them to calculate how much they would pay me and telling me that they would be withholding payments until I satisfied their request. All three "demands" were dated the day before the letters of "Award".

Payments have not been withheld and a "investigation" into the multi letter writing is taking place following the intervention of a friend who happens to be the manager of DWP in this area...... NOT the same area that I come under. For reasons known only to them they deal with me from Swansea..... Nuff said.

As for "Investigation" ~ Read that as "Swept under the carpet"
