Bit early in the year for artichokes isn't it?
Buy tinned and wait a month until the fresh ones are ready.

I am after jerusalem artichokes.  They sell them by the bowl full (£1) in Leicester market.  They make great wind breaks in more than one sense of the word.

It's the best market that I have been to in years. cloud9:

Off to Telford shortly to say cheerio to Malc, dark suit, black tie. Apparently a couple of hymns and three pieces of music he liked will form part of the service. I'm sure one will be Santana's "Samba Pa Ti", god alone know what the others will be, he liked Ozzy Osbourne  eeek:  These modern ways  rubschin:

Samba Pa Ti is one of my all time favourites and does have a certain effect on me. eyes:

For mine, I have asked for a bagpipe ensemble with a long list of dirges.

At least you can be sure they will all be crying that way.

Note to self: In future, when searching for a quiet corner in an unfamiliar building in which to have a quiet chat with a female colleague, DO NOT sit in the waiting area for the Drop-In VD CLinic  redface:
