My sister e mails from Portugal

Quote
We went to supermarket and came out to find a flat tyre. Ian started to fix it, I unloaded the shopping and put my handbag in my seat foot space. When I went to put trolley back, 10yards away,while Ian was busy, with the repair, somebody went in the car and took my bag'!!!!!
I lost my purse with 200euros, sunglasses, my camera and spare battery,my hong kong cosmetic bag,my new phone and my precious organiser which David bought me years ago, with lots of data in it. Also many bits and pieces. luckily I only had copies of my drivers licence and passport in the bag.The security called the police and after we'd taken our shopping home, we had to go to the police station. By then it was 4pm and we'd had no lunch. I then phoned my insurance and got everything cancelled.  We then had a 3hour stay at the police station while he filled in endless forms. Then his printer broke and that delayed us even more.
We had orders to return the car today. After a struggle to find the Avis place in Portimao, we were told it would cost us 80 euros on the insurance as the tyre had been cut and was not repairable.
Added to which we have had heavy rain, thunder and lightening and cool temps.
Today is carnival day, all the shops are shut so I can't even go shopping for a new handbag!
What else can possibly go wrong?

It runs in the family  noooo:

A PS arrives

I have been to a 'choose your exam options' evening at The Brat's school  noooo:

Jezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzus ..how complicated can you make it. Because this is the theoretically the first lot of kids that will be required to be in full time education until they are 18 they have to choose courses directed to certain pathways . 3 pathways - vocational , further education to university, and further education with a view to getting into elite universities etc.

Under each pathway core subjects and then a mix of courses that have to be taken from a mixture of modules but have to account for the number of periods taken  not taking into account the core periods required in the pathways - are you with me so far  noooo:

Then I was not allowed to embarrass The Brat by talking to anyone I know , or kissing anyone hello , or making any personal remarks about her , or breathing  noooo:

Great night  ::)
