I have just been to the Building Society. Took forever  evil: . There were two people in front of me that were trying to put as much into their ISA as their allowance would allow before next week. In cash  eeek:

Are we storing money under the mattresses again and then trying to get a bit of interest on it before we take it all back out again ???

I made a special trip on Saturday to top mine up with the outstanding allowance.  I went to the Building Society where the ISA is and got all their reference numbers so that I could go to my other bank and get the money transferred.  They said we've tried to send it but the other lot won't accept it. We can give it you in cash (over £2000).    8)  I said don't worry, life is too short and the interest rate not enough for me to worry about it.  I may spend it on frivolities instead!  That'll teach em.  cloud9:

I have just arranged to hire an pressure washer to give my decking and good going over in the morning like. I will also use it to clean the windows, paintwork, driveway and perhaps my car.

WHat can possibly go wrong?
