Well, this one is many times better than the one I am purported to belong to.

I too was born in a farm cottage, back bedroom overlooking the pig sty.
July 1947 ~ very hot summer, mother told me that the doctor arrived, threw open the windows as it was "too hot in this room" and promptly closed them again.  lol:

Apparently I arrived at tea time, after a long day's labour for Mum. She swore it was the sound of the pig feed being shovelled into the sty that brought me into the world.
