Only put my immersion on three times over the winter despite 2 showers a day. Now the water gets much too hot and there is the danger of scolding yourself with the hot water. Only had the heating on for about 2 weeks.

Running the air con can get a bit expensive though.  whistle:

Not sure yet still getting a few quotes but Valiant seems to be one of the most popular .

Then have to find some way of paying for it over the next few years option is likely  noooo:

Boilers cost as little as £600 .... find a Corgi registered plumber, buy the boiler on line and get him to fit it. Seemples.

Pricing examples ~ not a recommendation of manufacturer but an indication of prices available and remember that they also get "trade" discount

How long since you left the UK .... almost anything other than copper has to to paid for when you want to dispose of it.... we can't just throw it off the cliff edge like some. It is all to do with an EU regulation ~ coming your way soon ~ about recycling of used boilers, cars etc. etc. Almost all metal made objects and certainly ANYTHING a tradesman wishes to scrap has to be paid for and he has to be licensed to scrap it which also costs him money.
