Recovering.

Yesterday was staff conference day. All very sedate, about 30 people in 5 groups. 3 sessions of the usual "improve management, quality etc".

Then late afternoon was "wild game" time.

2 teams comprising a random mixture of Elves, Faireys and Wizards creating by selecting symbols from a bowl.
Object of game was to "tag" opposition based on Elves beating Wizards, Wizards beating faireys etc, and take the oppositions "life-bands". Obvously you could then start to work out who was what.
Started off very quietly until I pointed out that there was nothing in the rules about swopping symbols resulting in chaos and the opposition getting upset.
Game went from sedate to manic, with mainly the females resorting to chasing each other at full pelt all around the building and grounds - these wimmin are in their 40s and fifties! Twas like an old fashioned school playground.
Anyway casualties started to mount, one girl with a gashed back, don't know how she did that. On of our guys slipped and may have broken his ankle. various bumps and scrapes.
Having won, we retired to the pub for drinkies and a buffet.
