Reminds me of a clip from Till Death Do Us Part

Alf Garnett - Don't tell me the score, I'm gonna watch it later
Else (Dandy Nicholls) - I wouldn't bother, you never enjoy it when there's no goals
Alf - rants  cussing: cussing:  cussing: ...silly moo
Else - sometimes I think you love West Ham more than me
Alt - (muttering)  I love Fulham more than you  ;D

There was a Likely Lads episode where they avoided the the result of an England match only to sit down to watch it and find that it had been called off at the last moment.

I drove to Cheltenham straight from work to watch university rugby last season, only to arrive there to find out it had been cancelled the day before, but they hadn't updated the website  Banghead

I am surrounded by fruit flies. surrender:

Several weeks ago Mr C dried some tomatoes and put them in jars and covered them in olive oil to preserve them.  I found them lurking at the back of the fridge today. On opening they fizzed.  I am wondering if there is a market for a sort of greasy tomato and garlic alcopop.

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
