I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

We have two rubbish collections.  Once a week our grey wheelie bin is collected and every other week the blue wheelie bin and a box which is for cardboard and paper is collected.

Last week the grey bin broke.  I phoned Veolia and asked what I should do and at the same time I requested a blue plastic bonnet thing which you are supposed to put over the blue box to stop the stuff blowing around.

I was instructed to put the grey bin on the pavement so that it was visible and it would be collected and replaced by the end of the week.

About 15 minutes ago a blue bonnet was pushed through the letter box.  Mr C went to talk to the chap hoping that the grey bin had been replaced.

Oh noes noooo: The nice young man explained that he was the blue bonnet deliverer not the grey bin collector.  Another man (a grey bin specialist no less) would come an inspect the bin do a bit of rubschin: rubschin: and decide if the bin could be repaired or not. Only then would a decision be made.  Meanwhile I have no bin and the local cats and dogs are having a field day with my garbage. cussing:

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. noooo:
