Indeed ~ You know that, I know that but their nasty little guilty consciences don't know that. They are fearful of being caught in something they don't have control over in case it leads to a bigger/wider investigation that would uncover all sorts of things they have had a hand in.
Nowt wrong with what you are selling but they are so used to being on the fiddle they can't see past that.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I am sitting here fuming about sodding perfume/blokey smelly stuff.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
