 rubschin: Thinking about it I did use to make cider before we moved here ..... we had several apple trees at the old house. They all used to fruit at the same time and it was all I could think of to do with them. I'm pretty sure the apple press is still in the garage.

I suspect they are doing somebody else's house in the mornings and then excusing themselves "to let it dry" then coming here.

Two + weeks work incl materials, use of their ladders, brushes etc etc for £1200 ..... wouldn't have covered your air fares and beer.  noooo:
