£11.30 for the two drinks. The Peroni was £4.80  eeek:

I don't drink it often...

. . . . and they wonder why pubs are going out of business? Rocket science it's not! For the price of two drinks at the pub, you could have bought a dozen cans of Stella 4 or even Becks Vier at the local Pestcos!
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Pestcos original philosophy I believe (though it may have been one of the others):

Pile it high 'n sell it cheap!

There's a pub near me, the Hope - http://hopecarshalton.co.uk/ - owned by a group of customers and a pint of decent ale plus a large Pinot is £6.80. It's doing well and has the additional benefit of few youngsters. Good on 'em  Thumbs:
