Had a ghastly day today....  noooo:

Why does death act so slowly when it chooses...?

And why do we allow fellow humans to suffer in ways that would be unthinkable for our pets...?  noooo:

Nature is rarely kind. We just need to be thankful for what we have and make the most of it.

Wot Darwin said. happy100

I am assuming that when you say 'gave up' it wasn't because you had a carrier bag wrapped around his head. rubschin:

I have been out in the sunshine playing with JOM's didder. A very nice one it is too if I may say so. It fitted into my hand as if it should have been there for ever and worked just as it should. eyes:

DiBBer - diBBer - not diDDer - unless, of course, you're referring to something other than a small (usually wooden) tool for making holes to plant things in.

(though, on reflection, you could use a sausage - provided it was stiff enough!)
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Water came back on in the early hours. Was woken by the coughing and spluttering coming from the bathroom taps  evil:
