Getting ready to get up at Jesus Christ o'clock to go and kick bottom in London evil:

How very Shakespearean and ironic.

Nick Bottom, with the head of an ass, visits London to kick himself.

Miss D I am glad that you had a lovely evening and I do hope that you either managed to get back to sleep or at least have a nap and slob around, tis what days off are for.

Your kitchen must smell wonderful  cloud9:

From what I've seen of Cumbria and NW yorkshire the past few days, there's plenty of wild garlic to pick; the verges and woodlands are awash with it

You are quite right JOM, not the kitchen necessarily but the wild garlic, I love the stuff and would do the same sort of thing by a weed commonly called ( I think) Jack by the hedge. Shrugs:

I need to speak to my local 'wise woman' well, OK she is a man called Graham but has lived around here all his life , he is now in his 70's, a crusty old bugger but I like him. He will know where I can go and get it for myself.  He has pointed me in the direction of some wonderful chanterelles. I have now discovered the hidden valley which contains wild plumbs and crab apples. cloud9:

Maybe we should do a Growler does Yorkshire, could be interesting. rubschin:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Believe me, it got better; I just need to post them on Faceache

If you want similar, the roundabout outside Harlequins ground is always flooded. I suggested to the CEO that they put some ducks on it
