In addition to which I have serious concerns about one of the women in my team . Her husband is going pyscho on her  noooo:

Last week she claimed she had dropped her work laptop at home and had broken the screen. Yesterday again during a one to one ( I really should stop doing those  rubschin: ) she admitted her husband had punched it because he resents her going to work . A long and protracted story but he is Sicilian and very 'traditional'. They have 3 children and he wants to know where she is and what she is doing every hour of the day. Things have escalated dramatically in the last couple of months and I am really concerned he will end up doing something stupid to her  scared2:

She was in tears too  noooo: noooo: noooo:

Are you a manager or a counsellor/therapist?

Don't know how you do it to be honest  noooo:
When I've employed people in the past I've seethed when paying someone for not turning up and as for listening to excuses, let alone personal issues ...  cussing:

I'd probably make a crap employer (from the employees side) which is why it's sub-contract only for me  cool14:
