"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

 Spank2:

Have been having internet problems unable to get a connection via hub or dongle.  Seems to be fixed due to Mr C having the right cables.

About a foot above ground level in the lounge is strung a muddle of cables which have to be negotiate to get out of the study/lounge.  I am incredibly clumsy at the best of times. I predict a disastrous and undignified event in the very near future which will be the end of our internet access for a while.

Meanwhile I received some documents back from the DWP.  They came with a compliment slip on which someone had written that they did not need theses documents and if I had any queries please call the following number, 0845 60 60 8856.  It came from The Bradford Migration Project.  Shrugs:

I did have queries so called the number.  I got through to the Irish Times competition department.  Thinking that I had mis- dialled I rang the number again the same thing happened.  Go on give it a try I dare you.....

Today I have spent a lot of time on the phone being passed from pillar to post and being on hold.  I am in a fury. Banghead Banghead

I am now in the process of writing a very strongly worded letter.

When that has been done I am heading to the kitchen to deal with a fridge full of rhubarb and make tartar sauce and red pepper pesto.

After that....  Snoopysick: sleep017 sleep017

Got a call from a member of my team this morning . She is on a visit and it is all kicking off and they won't let her out of the property.. She has phoned police but there is all sorts of hysterics going on in the background between the two different parties ( owners and tenants) . She is distressed.

Jump in cab and get up there. 3 police cars and an ambulance outside  eeek:

Ambulance not needed though thankfully. Argument raging on in the street between the viscious bloody owner and these scroats of tenants who after much exploration through discussion with them are all on the feckin scam.

Police allow us into property and then back out themselves saying it is disgusterous   noooo: .

Tis disgusterous  noooo:  sick2:

But they do not have a tenancy agreement or have paid any rent in 2 years and the owner was convicted of benefit fraud of over £150,000 2 years ago  noooo:

Come out of proeprty and both parties start screaming and asking what we are going to do about it.

I am closing your case and referring your children to Social Services I tell the tenants and referring you back to our legal department I tell the owner.

All in all a positive outcome.
