Catching up on paperwork that I have been putting off, fighting people on the phone, bloody 0844 numbers so getting more and more pissed off by the moment. cussing:

Spending time gazing out of the window wishing I was in the garden.

One good thing has come out of this morning I found a brilliant website that finds land line numbers instead of 0844 numbers.  Apologies if that is an Affs thing.

Horsepickle in an hour or so.  sad24:

AFFS!

I thought that it might be hence the apology in the OP.

I am covered in puncture wounds, I'm surprised that I am still inflated.

Ages and ages and ages sorting out fffing bank stuff today .

I was transferring a store card balance to a credit card balance ...0 % interest etc. Cept the wonderful Natwest credited the store card twice which meant double the amount on my credit card  eeek:

Phoned the bank ....ahhh yes you are right we have duplicated the transaction they confirm. So when I ask if they can sort it I get the ummm and ahhhh. They can but they need to go back to the store card and that process will take between 6 - 8 weeks  eeek:

Best you go direct to the store card and ask them to sort it out  they suggest rubschin: ....cos it's their error right  noooo:

Contact store card ...oh yes Miss D your balance has been cleared and in fact you are now in credit by £xxx  eeek:. This is a store card not a credit card  whacky115

Explain situation to them ...ummmm and ahhhhh . Well we can transfer a credit to your bank account but we will charge you an administration fee for this  eeek:

I politely informed them that they would be doing no such thing. Then they said I had to go back to bank then and get agreement they would pay fee for their administrative error.

More dialling of 0845 numbers ( Miss C - I feel your pain !!! ) - bank says no that they should not be charging for this. I ask if they would speak directly to store card then ...err no can't do that madam ...data protection blah de blah ..

Ah but that hug was for a different reason therefore you now need to give me two instead of one maybe even three since I posted such a charming and delightful picture of you on Facebook. angel1
