Today is Mr C's 60th birthday.  Not one word card nothing from his parents or brother.

Mr C has gone to the National Railway Museum and from there to the Institute of Physics for a talk. Shrugs:

I am appalled by his families behaviour, their last conversation being that he was welcome at his parents home but I was not but this is beyond the pale.  I am so tempted to write to or even better just turn up on their doorstep and confront them with the hurt that they have caused. Explode:

But they are all bonkers. Ignore the morons

  Sound advice.

Having recently been in and out of horsepickle I have been awaiting with bated breath my Consultant's promised 'grand plan'.

Last night something happened which was on their list of 'tell us as a matter of urgency'.  So today sees me making phone calls to people who aren't there, to others who have not received reports that they should have done weeks ago.

My consultants secretary who actually has her head screwed on properly said 'what you need to do is speak to your GP and ask him/her to call the on call registrar who will no doubt ask you to come in and get checked out.

I have just had a lengthy conversation with a GP, a gentleman from India whom I have a great deal of trouble understanding because of his thick accent (and it transpires his thick intellect). evil:

I explained what the consultants secretary had advised.  Ten minutes later he said he would phone the secretary and do what she advised. Oh and would I be prepared to go to the surgery if that's what was advised. Explode:

I know for a fact that there are no consultant neurologists lurking at the GP's surgery. Nor do any of the GP's specialise in neurology. angry041:

The phone has just rung Dr Thomas has spoken to the on call registrar at the hospital and would I please go along and see him/her.  Quell f*cking surprise. censored:

To nearly quote that nice Mr Oates "I am just going out and may be some time".

Mr P what excellent news. cloud9:  Now if that could just rub off (as it were) on young Nicholas and me come to think of it what a great thing that would be. cloud9:
