I needed wifi - I was doing some work for her regarding the Consumer Credit Act (intensely boring) - so pub, wifi, a few beers and hey presto some of her work is done. Everyone's a winner!

I drove to Leeds - she's doing the return journey. As she's been in meetings, she dropped me at a local pub and then picked me up after her meetings. I couldn't exactly sit in a Costa for 3 hours, could I? :-)

Just done the same but at akis express .............went said you have an envelope for me ..........no we don't .......this went on for quite a while ....

when they finally found it , they gave it to me with just a first name and no ID (had passport with me ) ......and it was cash 

No signing anything , nothing ........

Just had a new 'puter battery delivered for MM all the way from Tailand. Taken 3 ruddy weeks as they said it would (4 actually, so it was actually quicker)
Still too bloody long mind.
Mrs piggin' know it all, the all knowledgeable one, The Mrs Owld Moose, suggested that it was probably coming by boat then.

I can only presume that means strapped to a piggin' pidgeon then.

Oh, I tried to buy a battery for Me-Mi today.... 

There is a shop close to the post office called The Battery Shop... They only sell batteries...

They've got loads of signs outside, 'The Battery Shop', 'We sell batteries', 'Get your batteries here', 'Nuffink but batteries', etc. Seemed like the perfick place...
