So that we can be modern and play gramophone records. noooo:

Actually it was in a hideous 70s cabinet thing that had to go. Blue and white formica featured heavily in it's construction. In it's place is a restored cabinet. The radio circuitry will be kept intact for photographs and because IMO it is a thing of beauty.

It reminds me of my father a cantankerous old bugger but into hi-fi, he used to solder a lot the smell of solder brings back so many memories and when he showed me things like this I used to imagine that there was a tiny city within the radio populated by tiny people.  redface:  It was prior to my tenth birthday if that makes it any better. noooo:

An old guy owns it, lives just around the corner from me.

Car looks really good, no rust, nice paint and sounds ok when running about. Interior looks original and is in good nick.
A well looked after car.
