Home from my first 6-day shift, now 3 days off. Sadly, I still have the key to lorry number 607 in my pocket and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they asked me to "pop-in" tomorrow to give it back.

To which, of course, the answer will be "Bollox!"

Thank you all. It is indeed one of those gowns JOM as I wasn't expecting to be here hence my unpreparedness.  Sheffield sucks but at least from 10 storeys up you can't see the shite nor hear the accents although I am on the corner of this particular block, it was somewhat stormy last night the windows were rattling, I am sure I felt it sway once or     twice but it might have been the affect of the dugs.

There is building work going on all around us .

They are creating a whole new underground entrance / exit / concourse. We have a new 14 storey, all glass building just about finished the construction phase now having services fitted. To the left we have  a demolition in progress which also includes disconnecting the joined up basement car park to our building.

Our building continually shakes and vibrates all day long   scared2:

We have been told this is all fine and to be expected.

If ever there is a news item with a building collpase story in central london ....be not surprised
