I am at home awaiting a phone call from Insurance Repair folk to call me to arrange collection of my car following an accident this weekend.   evil:

On the plus side, his widow has requested NO black attire and NO flowers.

Also, NO church, straight to the crem., and hopefully we'll be listening to some sounds of the '60 's in there.

Piss up after no doubt, and a possibly great chance to catch up with some old familiar faces...including some wimminly ones hopefully. eyes:

Your friend's widow sounds like a very sensible woman.  I hope that it is going as well as these things ever can.

This is what I will be watching later. cloud9: I don't think I could think of a better or more fun job.  Can you imagine the conversation at home at the end of the day....

Ebb and Flow, the Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) mission probes, are being prepared for controlled descent and impact on a mountain near the moon's north pole today at about 5:28 p.m. EST.

The twin lunar-orbiting spacecraft have allowed scientists to learn more about the internal structure and composition of the moon.

I have declined two invitations to Carol Services today; I fear it will rebound on me at some point  ::) . There are few remaining reasons for me to enter a church and carols ain't one of them, sorry.

Well, what do you expect?  Dear Mr P had forgotten all about Carol and her fantastic 'servicing'.  You come along and jog his memory and what happens, now Matron will have to slip some nice 'calming' powders into his bedtime drink. noooo:
