I have spent a fascinating few hours at nearby Milestones museum. I've lived here for 12 years and never visited the place even though it's only three miles away  Banghead

They had literally thousands of exhibits of what we, and generations before used at home, at work, and what was in the shops etc. Highlight of the day... 44 yr's ago I watched this little lady for the first time. This afternoon I was within four feet of her. It was like all my Christmas's had come at once  cloud9:

and completing witless statements for the accident which has taken my car off the road.  The Staff have just vowed never, NEVER, to drive my car ever again.  Wonder when I'll get it back from the garage, was £2000 worth of damage.   ::)

I seem to have spent half the day trying to:

Elicit the PAC no. of the phone to take my number with me
Request unlocking of said phone - another highly dubious revenue generator  ::)
Finding which signal works best at my place - indoors and not leaning precariously out of the window  ::)
Being put on hold
Being told that I'm a premium customer and that there's a new widget to boost the signal - Why now? When I'm about to leave the network of course  ::) And said widget is an admission that their coverage is crap, surely.

Anyway, the wheels are set in motion .. bye bye Three  evil:
