I visited three old places I haven't been to in years; lovely to find they're still there  cloud9:

1 leather button obtained from the Button shop on Marylebone Lane,  , a few doors down to Biggles the Butcher for Toulouse sausages,  , and then over the road to the Cafe which has been there since 1900,
Apparently the owner became fed up with the clientele moving the furniture so in 1960 he bolted the tables and chairs to the floor... they're still there  Thumbs:

Paul Rothe & Son  -  lovely place, people talk to each other while waiting for their food. The current father, son and family all wear proper 'Delicatessen' white coats.

How lovely I know all of those places, good to know that they are still there. I would imagine that they doing well even in the current climate.

Scary thought Pastis you and I may have been in that cafe at the same time years ago.  I lived just up the road in Bryanston Street. eeek: eeek:

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
