I am recovering from emergency dentist who hurt me and didn't solve the problem. Gave me some anti-biotics and asked me to get a letter from my GP agreeing that I can stop taking blood thinning drugs for a week ...... then and only then will she extract the painful tooth.

When I got home took a handful of painkillers and went to bed as I didn't sleep last night. Feeling like shite now.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Is the toof beyond hope?   I went to my NHS dentist with pain and he said it'll have to come out and I said no.  So then he says OK we'll save it the.  Cost a bit for the root canal work (whch does not hurt, honest) but I still have that tooth and (tempts fate) it doesn't hurt at the moment.

Bestest short term thing for toothache in my biased experience is always alcohol, stronger the better.  Schnapps is good
Well, whatever, nevermind

Beyond saving I'm afraid ...... Due to twenty years of beta-blockers all teeth are crumbling away ~ this will be the 9th to be removed in three years. I asked the dentist to remove this one a year ago when she said there was nothing she could do with it but she refused as I was in the middle of chemo therapy at the time.
It is one of the undisclosed long term side effects of taking beta-blockers but when I had the others removed by the Prof wot runs the Dental Hospital in Liverpool he told me about the effects of the drugs I had been taking (Atentolol)
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I can relate to that too.

Why?

'Cus I've never ever known my job to be so so quiet and it's starting to get me down, BIG time.
No work, no money, but the bastard bills keep on dropping through the letterbox, oh yes. Banghead

Spent most of today just chasing outstanding unpaid invoices.

1 'phone call only so far this week, with absolutely nowt booked.
Very worrying. scared2:
