It was marked "This way up - Fragile" ... which reminded me of an old Marx Brothers routine ... Fragile ... For Gilly ... I shall have to do some YouTubing ...
A new verb, no doubt  rubschin:
Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"

Marking Fragile on a box is as big a mistake as getting your luggage wrapped in polythene when you fly....  lol:

I went to a freight agent at Heathrow once to pick up a Zilog computer system - all £50,000 worth of it - The box that was marked 'Fragile', 'This way up', etc had a set of cricket stumps drawn on the side and an enthusiastic batsman standing in front of it when I got there...  noooo:

Why do people pay €20 to have their case wrapped in clingfilm?  Seems very popular with latin types

Just reeks off "you think the dog can't smell the coke through this" inviting 'personal searches'

And then you'd finally get to the hotel room and to get anything urgent out of your bag you'd have to fight your way through layers of bleedin cling film

Well, whatever, nevermind

Oh, oh, grumpus maximus ... people who cling film wrap an entire aisle of the local supermarket and arrive at the check-in desk ... in my experience notably African or Oriental.  noooo:

Pic search is needed for this needless extravagance   whistle:
