Werkin.  Today has gone well so far and at 19:30 I shall be leaving and going directly to the pub 8)

Nasty that, nearly   noooo:

Bit weird that. Before the plane leaves the stand, the First Officer or Captain conduct a visual inspection of the plane. The headset operator (me, for example) also does an inspection once all the ground service vehicles (caterers, fuel, waste & water services) have finished - to check that all doors, holds and hatches are closed and secured. I find it odd that both the FO and the headsets bloke missed the cowl door latches being unfastened, as it would be blindingly obvious.

Off to the hospital today to see my mechanic mate...

Working on my car the other week, then taken ill.... MRI showed three tumours on his brain... admitted to hospital yesterday... operation by the end of the week... chances of survival... Shrugs:
