Oh yes. Soo glad to be out of it all. razz:

Trying to fathom out how Linkedin works.  It may take a while.  Trying to find a mobile motor mechanic for son in Inverness who purchased another dud car. Banghead Wish I lived closer and feeling glad that I am doing something towards kids being able to do something for themselves not opening a bonnet and being confronted by a blank piece of plastic. Banghead Banghead

Then off to Sheffield to see a man about a dog. angel1

Trying to fathom out how Linkedin works.  It may take a while.   . .

It's all very non intuitive in it's interface.

I have an almost accidental LinkedIn account with the briefest of profiles and people I knew when I was working keep inviting me to link and endorsing me and even contacting me - rather smile making.

LinkedIn has become significant if you apply for any professional job.  We always used to search for the candidate's profile when we did interviews.  No profile = sus, profile not matching CV even susser and more than once the profile made us look at them better than the CV indicated.

Well, whatever, nevermind

Don't you mean your "steeds"?
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Spoke to the wife of the one at the top of that page, he hasn't been in business for about 5 years following a bump on his head which was very scary at the time but it's OK now but he isn't in anyway but has for the last five years beenj referring people on to Mike the mechanic, not the one wot sings, he wasn't in either, the mechanic, not the Mike that sings then I spoke to Alistair's wife she couldn't find a pen but did have paper.  All is now resolved.  Sons car is f@@ked. ::)

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
