I will keep investigating....  I thought you would know.

It had markings on it, no RAF circles but it did have wide white bands on the wings, prominent like. 

Was very much like a Lancaster with only 2 engines though.

I've got my first briefing on the new contract tomorrow. One things for sure, there won't be as many staff as there are on this one. Touch-wood, I should be OK though  scared2:

I'm not, well not today.  Today is fixing things outside and later have to fix Mrs K's camera with the broken CCD.  Web says it's easy, we shall see (the camera may not)
