My mate Nod tried to flog me a ticket to see Neil Young at the O2. I declined the offer. He has gone to London for the weekend and booked himself into an hotel for three nights, to make a weekend of it like

Oops:

Bad move for him, good one for me, like   (for a change)

You wouldn't have been able to hear it anyway........ whistle:
You didn't miss much judging by his concert there earlier this year.  Competent rather than entertaining but at least that's another artist ticked off my must see list
Well, whatever, nevermind

Today we went to the free Eastbourne Air Show and somehow spent £50.  A brilliant day, seems I took 157 pictures with my ancient tatty camera (managing to resist photoing, gawping at or touching the sun kissed totty such events draw)

Here's 3:

The Miss D Hawker Hunter

The regulation Arrows shot

Chinook

It's a brilliant show and the weather was great.  The council loses money on it every year so it's always at risk

That Miss Demeanour Hunter was terrific.

Here's the whole list.  Struck outs were no shows and pinked out we missed

Tigers Parachute Display Team
Swip Team
P40 Kittyhawk
Jet Provost
Tucano T1
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Disney's Planes with the Matadors
The Red Arrows - 15:00pm
Dassault Flamant's
Sabre
Rv8tors
Lynx AH7

Breitling WingWalkers
Spitfire MKIX
Chinook HC2
Hawker Hunter 'Miss Demeanour'
The Blades
Typhoon FGR4
Sea King Har3
Well, whatever, nevermind

Were you leaning over when you took the Chinook?  rubschin:
about 5 degrees it seems  redface:, rest is all the pilot

It actually went even further over but that's the shot with the water line to show it clearer.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Particularly the Arrows shot

The Chinooks fly over here all day long (I'm not far from RAF Odiham), a great sight, and even better sound

Cheers, think it was just a lucky shot.

Know what you mean about Chinooks and that noise .  Bout twice a month we get them here as they seem to use the field behind us for navigation training flights (don't land).  Slight catch is sometimes it's at 3am
Well, whatever, nevermind
